Novel solution- and paper-based sensors based on label-free fluorescent carbon dots for the selective detection of pyrimethanil
Our group recently collaborated with Dr. Peerasak Paoprasert from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University in developing novel sensors based on fluorescent carbon dots (CDs) for the rapid, selective, and sensitive detection of pyrimethanil, which is a fungicide widely used in agricultural crops. Our work demonstrated that the CD sensor can be used as a high-performance tool for quality control in food, agricultural, and environmental monitoring with sufficient safety.
