Dysregulation of microRNA in cholangiocarcinoma identified through a meta-analysis of microRNA profiling

Bile duct cancer is among the top ten life-threatening cancers in Thailand. Currently, there is accumulating mass of microRNA (miRNA) profiling data, however, it is challenging to gain the maximal information from these data. This work therefore integrates the data from multiple independent datasets to identify unique microRNA biomarkers in this cancer, which would offer a valuable reference for future studies.

This work is a part of collaborative research network supported by Thailand Research Fund and Newton Fund, UK.
